So the storyboard….this is by far my biggest seller. People just love these and I totally understand why. Storyboards are custom designed by Moi to suit the mood and feel of your favourite session portraits. They can be framed or put onto a fire place mantle or one of those cute and trendy floating shelves. They are mounted on a hard plastic material and are really truly stunning in real life. Here is one of my latest storyboard designs, which was inspired by Christie Hobson photography.
Storyboard Awesomeness
October 8, 2009A Little Piece of Preemie Heaven l Yellowknife Photographer
September 30, 2009This little guy was born a few weeks (like 7??) early and I was lucky enough to capture his first official photo session. If there is such thing as a perfectly smooth sailing session where literally everything goes as planned this little guy was it. He let me move, poke, adjust, lift, tilt, you name it, he let me do it and just kept. on. sleeping. He also delivered an arsenal of the most adorable expressions in his sleep. Little scrunches here, smirks and grins there, they never stopped, it was really quite phenomenal. To mom, I hope you are as delighted with these as I am and I can’t wait to process the rest. Thanks!

The Tale of a One Year Old l Yellowknife Photographer
September 27, 2009Our photography session marked the one year birthday of this little sweetheart. Her family was all around her to celebrate and the love and attention that she received really pulled at my heart strings. Every session I feel truly blessed to be there to witness and capture the love in the families that hire me. In working with children with little to no family base, it’s a relief that I can photograph families like this to restore my faith in the world and in our society. They just BEAM with love and enchantment for this little girl in all of the photos, then again, even I couldn’t help myself in doing the same during our two hours spent together. Enjoy!

Super Splendid Siblings l Yellowknife Photographer
September 18, 2009This little girl had so much spunk! She was always skipping, jumping, dancing, twirling…all the things little girls do so perfectly and naturally! Her little brother was a little sweetheart who gave me the cutest little smiles, when he wasn’t busy being enthralled with the grass, the sky in that way that only babies are enthralled that we all love to experience right along with them. I remember that being such a wonderful experience when my son was that age and it really brought me back to that time.
Anyway, I loved taking this family’s portraits! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!
